For my research i've come up with the question "are protein supplements healthy." I feel this would be a great topic to research because I feel that it could go either way. The topic has always interested me because I have used creatine and other protein supplements when I work out. I feel that people would care about this topic because it people want to know what they're putting into their bodies. I have found several articles already that have pointed either direction for my argument. These were from doctors that have done research on the subject already, but once again it points to being harmful and being healthy. On this entire subject, I believe that they could be rather healthy. Reason I believe this a product wouldn't be made if it is harmful to a person.

  1. This is interesting, Nate. I eat organic hemp protein powder almost every day in my morning shakes, and I wonder how healthy it is b/c even though it's organic, it's still highly processed. I would adopt a more skeptical viewpoint about products though, at least for this research, because I think it will help you find more sources. Just b/c the FDA approves it, does that mean it's healthy? i.e. "pink slime," or ProActive solution? Is being "not harmful" the same as being "healthy"??
